The Street
GPA have been commissioned by the Whitechapel Art Gallery as part of 'The Street', a year-long series of artists’ commissions in and around Wentworth Street. Home to Petticoat Lane Market, Wentworth Street runs from London’s financial district to Brick Lane. GPA will explore the project, its broader implications, its policy landscape and parallel historic and contemporary initiatives.

Va Urma, Bucharest
GPA worked with the British Council to contribute our expertise to a process of culturally-led regeneration in an area of central Bucharest. Through workshops and seminars we helped local architects and entrepreneurs understand the area’s identity, engage with the communities and develop strategies for physical change.

Dorset Design and Heritage Champions
A strategy commissioned by Dorset County Council to explore design and heritage in the rural environment and create innovative demonstration projects in sustainable design, socially engaged cultural projects and participatory planning.

Design Statements for Canning Town and Custom House
Design guidance as part of the brief for the regeneration of a large area in East London, including urban and housing design, streetscape and the public realm, and the design of the primary school.

Art at the Centre Evaluation
The ongoing evaluation of Arts Council England South East’s cultural regeneration initiative, establishing a framework to collect and analyse hard data as well as the personal responses of those involved in the processes of change.

Thurrock: A Visionary Brief in the Thames Gateway
A major international programme to promote the area of Thurrock and demonstrate new thinking on culturally-led regeneration. The programme aimed to create a positive identity for the area and celebrate its history and future potential. Visit www.visionarythurrock.org.uk

Design East Lancashire
The development of a programme and business plan for this flagship two-year project by CABE in the East Lancashire housing pathfinder area. GPA also delivered some of the first initiatives by the new body.
